I think you got smart, hardworking people, trying to do the best they can. Nothing wrong with that. Why do you have to make everything sound like it's the end of the world, and the world must go through great pain because of some damn oracle you read somewhere.

I once lost about 30K in a day on cisco call options.
(i think it was 1993 or 1994)
It was a thursday afternoon before options expiration.
They decided to drop the stock from about 28-29 to 19.5 in about 15 minutes. damned if i didn't own the 20's.
