Actually I agree that intel's compiler can compile stuff which is not spec (that's why I said "much more") but it is not a commercial quality compiler. I have heard straight no compile problems and bad generated code problems. I guess the right way to put it would be "it shouldn't be used to compile anything other than spec". To do otherwise is a waste of time. Even when I was sitting in building 17, it was difficult to convince certain compiler writers if you claimed bad code generation. Muzo
