I have no safety net Living in America, at least the one envisioned by the democratic party, provides a safety net. If you realized how much of your good fortune was good luck you would rejoice. It kills me that most conservatives don't realize just how little most people really want and will accept. A little dignity sums up most of it, but instead they create policies meant to degrade and embitter many people who then plan to exact some higher measure of compensation for what? for some stupid slight. Clinton knew the dream, that's why people had hope, those that wanted to get by got by, those who wanted to exceed did so also. Bush wants to degrade everyone until they are at or below the "born again" level of satisfaction. TP
