Right. Support at 37 held and held and held......and then failed. Support at 29 is still very tentative. I'm willing to go long at 29-31, because I'm willing to let my short-term trade become a LT holding, at those levels. We are beginning to see investors ignore bad news about the rest of 2001, and buy based on hope for 2002.

FWIW, to these eyes it looks TXN closed just below a bullish support line on the PnF chart around 33:

But I'm also inclined to think that in difficult times people turn to religion and investors turn to TA. <g>

The low today, was exactly where the daily lows were from 3/12-3/19. Took out yesterday's low, so the short-term pattern of higher lows is broken. My limit order to buy calls got very close to being filled. Maybe tomorrow, depending on the MU report, and the spin on the report. If I do get those calls, I'll hold for the bounce to 36, maybe 38. Doesn't everybody already expect weak earnings the next two quarters?
