WEll, you already have folks from Seattle running across the boarder and buying islands in BC... so you've got an asset value problem if this continues.

i agree with the views expressed there. as for the reason for a turn, i remain convinced that the over-owned and overvalued US frizzlebun is in for some way overdue selling sooner rather than later.

Somewhere I'd read that the implementation of the GST tax disrupted the normal econ cycle, resulting in greater weakness in the AUS economy than might have been seen otherwise. The currency reflects this weakness, though overall the AUS situation is better in some respects, or further ahead on the V/U curve than say, the US.

I thought of you when I read the note, but didn't post a link. BTW- it appears FAX retained the dividend through July at least.

BTW- it looks like Merrill finally updated their research on WMC, and upped their targets a bit. No position at the moment.
