I don't want to get personal, but it is the case that it doesn't take much to figure out that about as far Left as a society can afford to go without negative repercussions is Welfare State Capitalism, where one tends the goose laying the eggs, and merely tries to ease hardship and socialize risk to some extent....As I argued to thames sider on another thread, it is likely that Sweden prospered relatively based on the weakness of the socialists, and their need to compromise to hold onto power, and the occasional triumph of the Right to rebalance things.......
