I heard that Bush got a pay raise from $200k to $400k. Is he one of the politicians you were talking about? Or do you think he'll give it back (which won't actually be a bad idea, although certainly not expected).

Because in reality these energy costs are due to Junior George's buddies from Texas and his buddies from Kewiet monkeying around with energy prices in time for the election. They don't plan to smooth them over until the tax cut is accomplished and the Californians are bankrupted for not voting for Jr. You are right that any tax cut is going to be peanuts compaired to the type of money you used to get during the Clinton administration. Face it, you and everyone who isn't looking at a big inheritence is screwed until the voters send this idiot and his friends back to Midland. TP
