They refused to let the president of Israel speak
I checked CNN to no avail.

Who is "they" and when was the president of Israel to speak? This context thing is really getting out of hand. My machetayneste don't let me speak ill of Israel but I do realize that the Palestinians had little voice in the changes that were to take place after the second world war. The religious orders of the moslem people are a good analogy for what the christian right aspires to be.
