Debt was higher under FDR because there was a little something you may have heard about called World War II. Actually, under Truman, it came back down as we paid the war dept (while still operating the Marshall Plan), then increased sharply when Eisenhower took office. However, it's clear to me that you have no desire to engage in a useful, informed, and civil debate. Please continue to call everyone names while offering little substance. It is quite endearing.
