Oi... Guess I should sell my meager position I bought at 7 15/16 today. And throw my VII out da window on the San Diego freeway too!!! No chance. Love my Palm. Its a cult thing. Plan on upgrading later this year even. $3...dont think so! Waffle around $7-$9 sure why not. Just another trade. Jane:-)

Anthony, I took a big gamble yesterday on PALM. My head said clearly that everyone who is reporting in this current environment is either missing or guiding much lower going forward, but I fell for the long shot that PALM would BOTH beat estimates and NOT lower guidance -- BIG MISTAKE! I got butchered on PALM today. I did sell, however, and take my lumps because I know you are right about this one. With current PE and positive earnings, what happens when next quarter or MORE is negative earnings? What happens when competition dilutes future earnings more? Other problems coming??? This has got nowhere to go but WAY down from here. I will say this, however. You seem to get pleasure in other's pain. That, my friend, is not a good trait. Your financial future can be rosy, but other things can go wrong that makes money and success pale. I am a firm believer in what goes around, comes around. For whatever it's worth, I remain, SOROS ps perhaps you may want to look at world events and Israel especially and see that things may be coming to pass which point to . . . sorry, that's for my other thread -- I'll try to update it soon
