WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--EBay Inc. (EBAY) In its Form 10-K filed late Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, eBay also said the adoption of SFAS 133, a new accounting standard related to derivatives, will result in a gain of about $650,000 in net income and a loss of $2.6 million in "other comprehensive income" in the quarter ending March 31.

i agree with that. the people are an afterthought at best.

and they may well react to this new policy in completely unexpected ways, like e.g. converting their Yen savings into gold, as the ultimate expression of distrust vis-a-vis the authorities.
