Good point. But I'm not sure LTBH is set for 100 years....
I generally think, again depending on Time Frames, that LTBH is a 10+ year time frame.

As for the original Dow, you're right. But some were bought up and are now parts of larger companies. Whether any of them are still on the Dow as part of another company is something I have no idea about.
Others, I'm sure, saw their day pass.

Several of the DOW stocks look like they are going to be in big trouble - WMT, HD, PFE. GE is in real danger. Cash flows are deteriorating and stock is breaking down.
