Agreed. I've heard that Washington did so only reluctantly. Nixon and FDR would have stayed in until they died (oops, one got his wish). Everyone's noticed the effect it has, with side by side pictures from the start and end of their terms. Maybe that is the root of the problem. Anyone who would want the job is automatically disqualified. Means we'll have to start drafting people. I vote we draft Colin Powell. He didn't seem to want it, so he's the man (I know next to nothing about him, btw).
