I greatly appreciate the time you took to respond. I am a naturally "glass is half full" person. Your perspective-clearly not the glass is half empty-is very helpful in balancing a natural optimism wich drives me to buy, say what the heck I'm holding for years anyway, and then when stocks go lower, think I should have been more patient and could have bought more for the same money. I am good at seeing what will be good, but poor at strategy. It's funny to me that I am so knowledgeable in my field that that knowledge allows me the money to invest, and then so niave in my investment strategy. I am trying to learn. Your help is appreciated. O/T John Madarsz, I didn't respond earlier because I didn't feel my comment would add to the sum of human knowledge. However, I've commented on your post to another member of this board and feel it would be rude not to address you directly. I want you to know that I appreciate your summary of the prospects for the market. Your comments were succinct, yet very understandable. Thank you very much for taking the time to write them. Fred
