vbj, decisions have long lasting impact and that is why one ought to be careful making them - up front. i am smart enough to know that the direction of the tide is more is just as important - and often more important - than individual skill. the tide doesn't look good. as i said a thousand times, i hope i'm wrong. i don't want to needlessly alarm anyone. i will make my own decisions and go from there. everyone would do well to take a strong look at their employer and see whether they are going to soften. some at disney did and found jobs months ago. 4,000 didn't.
