Thanks - heres an update from middle america
We were a small private company called Technology Strategies in Twinsburg Ohio.

We had clients like Microsoft, Compaq, Nike, Rockwell.
We developed on-line registration sites for the companies when they would hold company sponsered events.

We made money. But apperently we lost ALOT of money before I got there. Only the lawyers know the real deal.

We hired an executive staff to try and take us public (vp sales lady from ATT, COO from Delphi, vp marketing from Damons etc)

We had a meeting this morning announcing that we would not get paid for our last 2 weeks.

All people are laid off.

We had a sales guy in MN with twins. Lots of sad stories.

They are not even declaring chapter 11. All equipment is supposed to go in the hands of the creditors.

I guess the sherrif came by with an eviction notice yesterday.

Employees not paid for last 2 weeks and outstanding expsenses not paid. Cleaning people not paid for 5 months. People knocking on the door wanting money

Some 'shady' investors called Hockey Stick investors were fronting us. They hired Tunstall, some company in FLA, to help take us public. They had appts with Raymond James.

I called for unemployment today (first time ever im 33). They lady i talked too said they have been getting alot of calls the past 2 days (end of the quarter?) People similar to me (where the people were given no notice)

former employee of defunct Technology Strategies
BTW I do not regret making the choice working there. I learned a great deal, made good products and had fun.
