Just a note--I noticed recently that EMC seems to be advertising a bit more on TV. For instance, last night during the Larry King show, I was greatly surprised when an EMC commercial appeared with the message: "EMC, Where the Information Lives!" I had previously seen the commercial during CNBC, but this is the first time that I have seen the commercial aired during a non-business show. In this time of doom and gloom, I love to see EMC getting out there and waving their banner! Linda

More on Blue Arc

See is.pennnet.com for an interesting article, courtesy of the NTAP thread here.

Note particularly this quote: "Within three years, we ought to be the only company that will be able to challenge EMC and NetApp on their turf," says Enrico Pesatori, CEO of BlueArc.

I'm sure both NTAP and EMC will obligingly stand still for the next three years so Blue Arc can meet this objective.
