Dear Mike: Well, this money business is a problem, no doubt about that. Special interests do in fact buy access to the politicians and WHO KNOWS what else (see Pardons). On the other hand it takes money to make a case. I am coming to the believe that ALL MEDIA be required by law to GIVE a certain amount of space/time etc. as a PUBLIC service for electioneering and other than the amount we indicate on our tax returns for elections, that should be it. Frankly, I could do with less ads anyway, couldnt you. haha. JDN

Dear Michael, this Thomas never ever doubts that one of your posts will put forth a clear concise and compelling description of an issue. It seems to me that the only thing left to debate about McCain-Feingold legislation is whether it's justification comes more from communist or nazi philosophy of methods of fooling the vacant liberal mind. Of course I just see it as stupid McCain-Feingold being them stupid selves with an extremely shallow understanding of what America is about. Seems to me McCain-Feingold got upset and went off in a rant. I always find it funny and sad how easy it is to get vacant liberal minds to join in a rant. tom watson tosiwmee
