I second that opinion, a few characters have turned this thread into a bad soap opera to be used for entertainment purposes only.IMHO

This malaise is now common to many of the threads I follow here and elsewhere. I put it down to the majority of folks losing money and feeling some discomfort. Patience and tolerance seem to be in short supply everywhere. The "I'm a bigger, better and earlier bear than you are" crew are having their day in the sun.

This is like last March. Yesterday you could have shorted anything and made money. Last March everything long did well. The market punishes excess in either direction.

Chief:
This thread used to give me a "heads-up" on stocks that I might want to follow, or stocks that were changing direction, and I might want to get out of. Since I am not as good a trader as some, although I make enough to live on, I need clear concise information. I used to find it on threads like this one. Now, I often read this thread in the evening, or early morning in case someone had something useful to say. Often it is only the stroking of egos, and the preening of the insecure. Not very useful for making money. And I am primarily interested in making a buck, not being social on a "chat line" with people I don't know.

It's a shame because I liked this thread. I don't post here much anymore because it is not serving it's original purpose, day-trading. The heads-up, entry/exits, and all the day trading info is gone as are most of the originals. Replaced by self proclaimed experts that seem to think theirs is the correct way. If it's correct then it should make money but I don't see those people posting their entry/exit prices based on their expert opinions. Therefore, it's of no value here.

I learned a lot from watching the original crew take trades (enty/exit, trigger points, reasons) when this thread started in '98. I've been trying to give back to the many that lurk here, perhaps learning like I did. Unfortunately it's a loosing proposition because of all the noise that has to be weeded through.

I suggest that if you stay here, abide by the thread header, otherwise start your own thread to carry on this noise.

Regards,
Nick
