Scumbria: AMD has done an excellent job of not broadcasting their internal issues to Intel. This has greatly helped their business efforts. I for one don't want to see that change. I am acutely aware of the fine distinction between informing your investors of your current status / future plans and putting yourself at a competitive disadvantage by revealing important information to your competitors. However, I feel that AMD quite often chooses _not_ to reveal information to investors that Intel easily knows already. IMHO, Jerry runs AMD pretty much as his private company. Good and Bad. -fyo
