Art I agree with everything you say.... ..except for one thing (you knew that was coming didnt you!) I see no sign at all that the music industry is at all interested in doing what you describe.(and what many of us here would no doubt prefer) The technologies that they are so far discussing not only are more restrictive than necessary, and more expensive and complex than current CDs, they also show signs of wanting to implement a 'pay per play' scheme. Not a compelling consumer proposition, I am sure you will agree. Tw
