I know exactly what they are talking about. There is a conformity and a silent censorship in most other countries that is foreign to America. The importance of an individuals freedom is so strong and so natural no fundamentalist group of any persuasion could ever knock it out. Your system does err by being over generous to countries that don't share your ideals. People don't immigrate to Canada to become Canadians because there is no such thing to become. With very few exceptions immigrants to Canada carry on as they were and the same applies to European immigration destinations. Culturally and morally bankrupt Europe will be over-run from Sweden to France by infidels.
