You and I were on the same plane. I turned the radio off but then decided I should listen to the fool to hear what he had to say. I turned the radio back on in time to hear him use the word "protacted" for the word" protracted".

He is still trying to blame the California energy crisis for his failure to enact his campaign promises of reduced carbon dioxide emissions and other environmental safeguards. He claims it would affect the American working man......what a crock of bull. His good friend and heavy campaign donor called Kenneth Lay of Enron Corp. is making billions off California as Bush looks the other way.

The San Jose Mercury News had an article about the energy markets in it last weekend. The energy brokers have an electronic market operating from a building in Houston. They buy and sell energy based on low cost and high bids. All the energy produced in Ca. is not being used here. Since 2/3 of our power plants were sold to these private energy barons, all the power produced here is not used here. In fact, most is exported to other states that pay a higher price.

Ca. is one sixth of the worlds economy...........the rest of this country better be ready for the ripple effect.

Has the fool ever been there? Impeach the idiot.
For what? Never having been in Alaska?

Section. 4.
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and
Misdemeanors.

Which one does that fit under?

For proposing legislation that affects an area he's never been in? Then no President would ever have finished a term.

How about this:
2000
A federal judge ruled that President Clinton ''committed a criminal violation
of the Privacy Act'' by releasing personal letters to undermine the credibility
of Kathleen Willey, one of his accusers. (New York Times, 3/29/2001)

That does fit, doesn't it?
