" Looking at peak to trough, to balance the expectations, CSCO has declined 80.8%, whiler LU has declined
87.3%. The peak for both stocks is pretty close to the same number, while you'd have to take another third out of CSCO currently to get to LU."

Cisco declined because of a unique set of business circumstances not because of company specific stuff a la lucent. (Actually Lucent declined for both reasons.) Thus I think the relationship between csco and lu stock is way out of kilter, assuming cisco does not aquire lucent bad habits. That is what Yaacov meant. So if cisco goes to 6, lucent will sell for pennies.
