I would concur there Michael.. If the enemy is close enough for you to use a pistol, you're likely to have all the stopping power you need if you hit them in the head. Either way.. the .45 is a great round for certain purposes. But the 9mm is a decent round at close range as well. If we wanted to get into arguments about "stopping power", I could easily suggest that a .50 caliber Desert Eagle has more SP than a .45 ACP. remtek.com But you're right. We had standardized rifle ammo with the 5.56mm and it only makes since that we use the same with pistol ammo. Regards, Ron
