That's pretty much what struck me too. It seemed like a big waste of effort on behalf of the principal, but if the kids were genuinely beating eachother up, instead of just tagging them. It could be a valid concern. Saw a quick clip on Fox last night, about this school in California which has the students periodically muster in the auditorium and listen to left wing groups such as N.O.W. I believe the school physics teacher was taking them to court for indoctrinating the students. What a gutzy guy! He said he was a libertarian, and the students should get a balanced view of the issues. What a radical concept for our public education system. Offering a balanced view of the issues.
