Note the advertised range of 16 miles, and references to "Public Hot Spots" Hmmmm WaveRider seems to be making similar claims for their Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum product ?? Mike, I'm old enough to remember the excessive (false) claims of "Hi Fi", "Peak Power", "Music Power" , etc., which were made by our failing consumer electronic product companies. I wonder if we are not seeing similar "Non-Line-Of-Sight" "stories" in our present time ?? I don't know ... would you classify this as a Broad Band Fixed Wireless product ? Would it need to connect to an ISP to clasify as a Last Mile product ? What would people be doing with this stuff in Airports ? Disclaimer ... I have no interest in Agere stock at this time. At my advanced age, my main interest is in hoarding and spending cash :-) Regards, Mardy.
