Jim, I probably should have said that I thought the wireless market "satiated" rather than saturated. Its clearly not the later, but, for the time being the people who really want wireless have it and the supplemental demand is slacking off, for the time being.

``Analog Devices has outgrown the DSP market by a wide margin over the past two years, making us the industry's fastest-growing DSP supplier,'' said Jerald G. Fishman, President and Chief Executive Officer. ``DSP has become a multi-billion dollar opportunity for ADI. The consolidation of our DSP-related divisions into a group will allow us to take a broader, more strategic view of our potential market opportunities, while also providing for better cross product line utilization of our technology.

``We are very fortunate to have in Brian an experienced, capable executive to lead our DSP business to the next level, and in Vincent, a long-time executive with Analog Devices who can immediately assume responsibility for our worldwide sales organization,'' Mr. Fishman continued. ``Russ's insight into new technology and markets, coupled with his success in building our Communications Division, uniquely qualifies him for his new assignment.''

Mr. McAloon began his career with Analog Devices in 1987 as General Manager of the company's Limerick, Ireland facility. In 1990, he assumed responsibility for ADI's European Sales and became Vice President of Worldwide Sales in 1992. Prior to joining ADI, Mr. McAloon held a number of senior level positions in the semiconductor industry. He earned a BSEE degree from Glasgow University in Scotland.

Mr. Roche joined Analog Devices in 1988 as a senior marketing engineer in the company's Limerick facility. Since then, he has created and managed many new businesses for ADI that have cumulatively generated significant revenues. Most recently he has been serving as Vice President and General Manager of the company's Silicon Valley Business Unit and Computer and Networking Segments. Mr. Roche has a BSEE degree from Limerick University in Ireland.

Mr. Johnsen started with ADI in 1993. He founded the company's Communications Division and established a systems-focused approach to market and product development.
