" There will be a "flight to quality" and the largest economy has this currency.". I too hope we can avoid a Japanese caused crisis. Flight to quality though goes on all the time, usually regarding US currency and treasuries. They have been the new gold standard. American equities stand to benefit as well. As this "bubble" disease spreads around the world, money ironically does end up flowing back to the US, the place where this bubble was invented. This money drives interest rates lower and makes US equities more attractive. Just a thought!
