Yes they are. It's all to the good, IMHO. Smirk must be setting some sort of record to show exactly whose pockets he resides in the shortest period of time. Before too much longer, even hmaly is not going to able to excuse his behavior. Will the strip mining and logging get approved? Probably. But this is something that will get tied up in courts for a long time. And when his bud's complain, then Bush will, sooner or later, do something transcendentally stupid like declare martial law because of the gravity of the emergency.

It will be interesting to see if the Republican party will survive the presidency of Dubya. Nixon almost killed it off after Watergate. Smirk very well may finish them...
