I think that's so obvious but maybe not.

This 'conformance' requirement is blatantly evident on several boards, actually. Possibly on all of them. SI and Yahoo. And Raging Bull (I don't know about others) ... it's DEFINITELY blatantly obvious on some of the "Investor'sHub" boards established by former and/or current SI thread aficionados that I recognize from here.

'Respect' for the 'group think,' determined deliberately or not, by the 'founder.'

Fear-based. By the 'founders' and the flock. Period.
