I have been watching CNBC, so I have not seen Maria B. making those statements. Is there any possibility of confusion over the word "stocks"? With "gas stocks" there are possibilites for mutliple confusions, of course, since someone could use that to mean "supplies of gasoline," "supplies of natural gas," "common stocks of gasoline (refining, distributing) companies, " or "common stocks of companies heavy in natural gas." I am not suggesting that you are confused, but wonder if Maria or her writers are confused.
