No tears: Good. Tears: Bad. I've felt bad about making that happen for two days. I'd been told by all parties involved that I was to choose my own reviewers. I hadn't asked anyone whom I didn't feel was qualified and I was caught off guard by a veto from a player who wasn't present and had been blind cc'd (tearful person's boss). I felt I was in a surreal landscape without a compass. After some people told me about the complicated political dynamic behind the situation and urged me to make peace, I wrote a really nice letter of apology. We are still friends ( I checked today). I meant no harm, but wanted an authoritative and definitive justification for the veto of my approvers which I had interpreted as a bit of a blind-side (which it was, but not that person's fault).
