And I honestly believe that all available data backs up that view. >> There were tons of applications that you could see the difference between a cache-less celeron and a p2 on. You probably wont' be able to tell the difference in most apps between a p4 1.3ghz with sdram, and a 1.3ghz DDR athlon, because both will probably be more than what you need. If the difference isn't large and obvious on stuff people run daily I don't know if there will be teh same backlash.

And I honestly believe that all available data backs up that view.> I honestly think the P4 is doing badly because "MHz Sells" has been replaced by "Price Sells" for at least the next six months. And "Brand Name Sells" is being replaced by "Features Sell." In the P4 vs. High End Athlon arena, "Features Sell" is the main AMD advantage. In the P3/Celeron vs. Athlon/Duron arean, add "Price Sells." Petz
