What kills me is these guys still want to give away cards even to people who don't want them. I tried to cancel a card I never use the other day, it's harder than trying to quit AOL. Every time you say you don't want the card they come up with a better deal to try to get you to keep it. I thought I could get it done by telling them I don't have a job and I don't have any money to pay a credit card. Then the guy asks, "Let me ask you this, do you carry a balance month to month? Do you ever get cash advances? Do you ever want to consolidate all your balances?" These are all GOOD things to them and if you say yes they offer you a better deal.
