If you do not see the difference between advocacy and bribery, then I don't know what to say. By the way, I was careful to say that there was a synergy in the support of "progressive" candidates, which is clearly true, not necessarily in issues advocacy. All of the aforementioned causes are practically constituent groups of the Democratic Party, and constitute, for the most part, its left wing. Again, the fact that you dismiss the notion leaves me somewhat bewildered. If the environmental lobby cannot build greater support in the community, then perhaps they are doing a poor job getting their message across. Or perhaps the message is flawed. Regardless, it is not up to the legislature to supply their deficiencies.......
