Mr. master,

I am not trying to make fun of any one. T2 asked me a question about whether I am still investing in tech yesterday. I told him my positions and in that particular post, I just wanted to inform him that I closed my position because I believe that JDSU is not worth shorting or longing at current level.

If I had offended you in my post, I deeply apologize for my wrong behavior.

larry!

Master-

I must say that I agree with you. Although Larry thinks he is being diplomatic in the way he said it, it is neither the time nor place to making those kinds of comments here.

If you want to brag about your recent windfalls, it best be said on some daytraders forum.

Larry appears to have been correct in his market calls, but the last thing we need to here over and over is, that he's been telling us all along and that it's still going to get worse.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but let's stick to discussing JDSU if possible and not how happy Larry is w/ his 400% profit on JDSU puts.

Congrats to you Larry, but please have a little more compassion for those that may not have been as wise or as fortunate as you in this market.

Master,

Yes, the stock will eventually bottom, and a new 'generation' of investors will have learned a lesson that other generations learned as we go thru this boom/bust cycle over and over again. As for 'no one wins', I don't buy that either. Indices don't normally double in a matter of months, so in my book when the NAZ went from 1500 in 1998 to 5,000 in early 2000, anyone that did not take profits should have had their head examined. Broadcom at 274? JDSU at 150? Yahoo worth more than Boeing and the entire auto industry combined? Give me a break. I started out in this game during the '73-'74 bear, consider myself a student of market history, stayed away from stocks like JDSU (I don't like playing with matches), and came thru this bust just fine. Anyone you claim is 'losing their life savings' is most likely heavily long on hyperpe techs. If that is the case, well 'thems the breaks' because with high reward comes high risk. If this thing goes low enough I'll be happy to buy those shares.

Regards,
John
