Great chart Jack. And since I expect the bottom to occur in October, it prolly won't go that low (888)... but it does look like it'll breach that 1025 I mentioned. Ouch.

On the plus side, imagine how many online brokers'll go belly-up. See? There's a silver lining in every cloud.

Your numbers represent and economic meltdown of huge proportions. I don't see it. I see some tech companies a bit ahead of themselves, over-inventoried with too much junk for the average Joe to consume. It will balance out. Valuations just becoming more realistic as they should be. My channel is 1800 with 1500 being oversold. I think the market is right where it belongs right here. If it goes below 1500, then I have underestimated the extent of trouble our economy is in.

If we get to numbers like yours, we will have a World War. I don't want to talk down that road.
