I never worked in a factory, my father who was Doctor trained me with his last pennies of savings and by selling his entire fortune to make us educated. We came to US with nothing but education and 'visit visas in 1980-81', my two sisters, my brothers and myself. All of them are doing just great.

We all started to appear in our basic exams, I did what I had to do, the sister's did what they had to do, everyone of them did their internship and are senior proud members of a great country which I love. They all are US nationals I am not, I decided that US Atlantic barrier is too big, I use to get lost and had no ideas about other side of the Atlantic.

I bought properties in NY when no one else wanted them, developed with Fisher Brothers some of the finest property on Park Ave with my bosses in Kuwait. I know US like my second habit, I have great dreams of US as a country that will lead the world to greater prosperity and greater global unity and understanding.

My mother, my sisters, my brothers all of them are married in US are US nationals and are proud members of that country. We know the pain of 'pink slip' also know the pain of 're-possesions' and I know that a great coutry like US when it stops it is like a huge tanker, a huge gigantic effort to change course or to change gears, we are in middle of this changing gears, yes it is difficult, but it is great to keep the economy on track.

All this pain would be lost, CNBC last year was condemning Buffet, I too. Today we give him credit of salvation. US economic welfare is a guarantee of future prosperity for billions of poor masses who will not have a second chance, as a philanthropist involved with 2 cents worth of poverty eradication activities, I am blindsided and wish US quick recovery not for my own wealth but for the great trickle down impact that it brings to downtrodden. I have a smaller dream, but a coherent dream where I see poor and debased as a result of global prosperity share a little more calories, a little more fun, that is it, yes I will always be a optimist I will always be a bull..

I have been a lurker and a regular reader of this thread. I can tell you I have learned a great deal and thanks to you and few other posters.

Please do not be discouraged by a bunch of hustlers. It's always been this way. This will pass, and the true colors will shine through. The economy won't die, and the market will stay open for the years to come.

sincerely
farhadn

Ike, ignore them. FredE is probably a teenager with bad acne. He goes all over SI taunting, and its pretty clear his IQ is low! He can hardly spell.

You have always been sincere, open and helpful. Everyone has an opportunity to evaluate what you say and either accept it or choose to not agree. Or, they may choose not to spend time on your thread at all. I do not feel anyone is justified in attacking you or your judgement. As long as you offer your opinions in good faith they give us another perspective. And, from someone who puts great study into the markets. Please continue giving your input and ignore your detractors. Thanks for all your help.

Frank

Dear friend,
I have followed your posts for several years now - your contributions have been huge. Many of us have learned a great deal from your theories, levels, and life-lessons.
I, for one, haven't stopped and said "thank you" often enough.
Sincerely,
charley

Ike,

These tormentors are merchants of death.

When you strain your energy to its utmost in order to produce the best, do you expect to be rewarded with warm thanks from time to time or punished?

By every standard of decency, of respect, of justice known to you - you are convinced of the good deed in man over evil.

Then, if you were punished instead- what sort of code of acceptance is this?

I proclaim to you it is the code of death and do not accept this code.

You take pride in setting no limit to your endurance because you think that you are doing right.

What if you aren't?

What if you are placing your virtue and unselfish giving in the service of evil and letting it become a tool for destruction of everything you love, respect and admire?

You, who would not submit to the hardships of nature, but set out to conquer it and placed it in the service of joy...

Since your days on SI, you have heard yourself denounced, sometimes for your faults, but mostly for your greatest virtues. You have been hated, sometimes for your mistakes, but mostly for your achievements. You have been scorned for all those qualities of character which are your highest honor.

You have been called a fool for the courage of acting on your own market judgment and bearing sole responsibility for your own life and decisions. You, who have created abundance where there is nothing but wastelands and nowhere to nowhere posts. You who have kept alive the robberbarrons sharing your supports and resistance levels and you are called the exploiter.

You, of the purest and most moral man among them have been sneered at and laughed at and mocked repeatedly. What kind of moral sanction is this?

You are guilty of a great sin - now no more. A sin much guiltier than the tormentors tell you, but not in the way they preach.

The worst sin is to accept an undeserved guilt and you must ask yourself is that what I have been doing all my life?

You have been paying blackmail, maybe a little for your vices, but mostly for your virtues. You have been willing to carry the load of an unearned punishment- and to let it grow the heavier the greater the virtues you practiced.

But your virtues are those which keep men alive. Your own moral code- the one you live by. Yours is the code of life.

What then is theirs? What standard of value lies at its root? What is the tormentors ultimate purpose in life?
Where is their code leading you and what does it offer as your final goal?

A viler evil than to murder a man is to sell him suicide as an act of virtue. A viler evil than to throw a man into a sacrificial furnace, is to demand that he leap in, of his own will, and that he build the furnace besides.

It is they who need you and yet they have nothing to offer in return.

By accepting punishment, not for any shortcomings or sins, but for our virtues, we betray our code of life and make possible their code of death.

They use your love as a virtue of hostage.Your generosity and endurance are their only tools. They count on you to assume the burden. Your tormentors are trying to destroy you by means of your own power. Now that you discover this they are powerless and dead. You now understand them. They are robbers of your human spirit no more.

Best Regards, J.T.

I think this can be positive news..
<<Consumer spending, which fuels two-thirds of U.S. gross domestic product growth, increased 0.3 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $7.004 trillion, the Commerce Department said.

Underscoring this strength, the department revised up its figure for spending in January to a gain of 1 percent from the previously reported 0.7 percent. January's spending rise was the biggest in 11 months.

The report also said Americans pocketed a pay rise for the fourth straight month as personal income grew 0.4 percent in February to an annual rate of $8.538 trillion after a 0.5 percent gain in January.>>

With the exception of the third point rest of it is good news.

On SOX, I will on break of 540 suggest puts on SOX well outside the money..like 400.. cheap but lot of leverage..

I would think that 1155 should be taken out with the help of old economy stocks, and another positive close on Friday should help. Below 1137 would be a test to 1122 and above 1160 we can see a close above 1165.
