Scumbria, re: You're right again. 4 networked computers is better, because they can run different OS'es and don't have contention for resources. What resource would that be? You're still confused as to what servers do versus workstations. OK. Throw in another $20K for the ridiculously priced Sun memory. Got me there. Boy am I stupid. I forgot that I like having the Solaris man pages which can't scroll up Yes you are, try pressing the "b" key for back. and I hate all of the great shell features on Linux and easy connectivity to Windows machines. Like what? tcsh so you use the up arrow to recall history? Connectivity to windows, like what mounting DOS partitions or Samba? That's all free software just install it. Sun is the Apple of the Workstation world. They had a huge lead, and they blew it. That's why they outsell everyone and constantly win vendor of choice, cause they suck?
