"What he meant is WCDMA is not breathing at all, dead!<ggg>"

Hello, Assu-and-not-me.

WCDMA breaths, but the GSM system does not.

Additioanlly EDGE breaths almost as badly as CDMA,
but once again, basic 7 cell GSM doesn't.
(while AMPS does)

That is, the combination of breathing and not
breathing which OFDMA tries to implement in a more
practical way. (like all those orthogonal channels,
carriers of GSM, compared to the three Viterbi had to add
for CDMA)

Invented by the neanderthals when communicating
during different circumstances and to different persons,
at different distances and with more or less urgent
messages, sometimes cocktail parties and sometimes
more serious stuff.

Ilmarinen.

"the experiences in IS-95"

Is maybe something one shouldn't talk about as
a Q-share holder, narrow band breathing is
not that good for drooping and dropping
end user experiences.
