absolutely. the fact that it didn't turn at the support is near term ominous. recall however that when i made a longer term assessment a while back, i pointed out how e.g. the OSX rally from the late '98/early '99 time frame began: the initial rally attempt was given back in its ENTIRETY before lift-off. the same happened with XAU/HUI in '92/'93. there were lots of false starts, so that when the real McCoy finally came along, nobody believed it anymore. likewise, the initial rally off the bottom had been given back almost completely, but the wave 3 more than made up for that.
i'm not saying the very same thing HAS to happen this time too. the wave structure of the initial rally is imo very constructive, so i for one am not going to try and time this. i'll be patient, and wait.
