I wouldn't buy into the test conducted by Lightreading.

They never tested a fully loaded router - shared memory
architecture will fail badly. They also didn't tested
online-insertion-removal which Juniper fails badly - again
due to shared memory architecture. They bragged a lot about
how Juniper can do line rate acl's on oc-192 but simply
forgot that in a core router very few carriers do acl's.

Least but not last when Tony Li left Juniper he also took
with him several of Junipers top engineers to Procket. My guess is that Juniper being a single product company will
have trouble when Procket comes out with their router...
