I was just sitting back thinking how great it must feel for someone who spotted the bubble last year and decided to short a few of the Dot Coms. That genius got to ride many of them way down. Then this past summer he put a few short orders in to take advantage of the fiber optic bubble. He proceeded to short all of the incredible gorilla portfolio stocks. Who would have ever thought they would come tumbling down so far? These are the cream of the crop. Surely they would not fall as far as the dot coms... Somehow they have been. Companies who are actually making money are falling to levels never thought of. But all of this has to do with the incredible P/E's attached to them. BRCM, BRCD, JNPR, SEBL, NTAP, etc. They are all at levels I never expected to see. I'm beginning to think that I should simply wait for each and every one of these to reach single digits. Then as each one hits the $8 mark, I'll buy as much as I can. Sure they can dive to $4, $3, or $2... But eventually they will be worth $16, $24, $32... So maybe I should just sell everything and wait to pick them off at $8. Yeah that's the ticket... I could probably start by buying ARBA. Then AVNX could dip from $10 to $8 in the next week. I'd just sit back and wait for them... Pick 'em off one at a time. $8. Bam! RMBS! $8. Bam! QCOM! $8. Bam! JDSU! $8. Bam! GSTRF! oops! I forgot. I already tried that one already. Still waiting for that bounce... $8. Bam! ICGE! Ooops. Already bought it once at $8... hmmm.... perhaps I better only buy the ones making money and skip the ones with all that promise... Come on CSCO! Hit $8. Come on SUN! Almost there. Break below $14 and fall right into my arms at $8. ...don't mind me... I get this way occasionally. The market causes a few of my wires to cross and I begin typing without even knowing where I'm headed... $8. Bam! MOT! $8. Bam! LU! $8. Bam! XLNX When the heck are the biotechs going to go on sale? Why aren't they getting creamed as hard as the techs? Are they special? Is this where the funds and houses are putting their money? Are they buying HGSI, CRA, and PDLI? Is this going to be the next great frontier that will entice to baby boomers to put all their hard earned money? They want to live longer and longer... Reverse the aging process... Cure cancer... Seems like this type of technology would be something they could really sink their teeth into... Getting back to the guy who saw the bubble and shorted those dotcoms. I wonder if he is almost ready to begin going long on the market? Buy now and wait a few years... Maybe he's waiting until everything hits $8. L8R... -BehindThe8Ball
