No chance of QCOM warning.

If Unicom wants to launch commercial service in October, they need to make sure of enough phones by then. So phone makers like Samsung need to place orders to ramp up the production. So that results in visibilities in next few quarters. also there are a number of countries that have started or are starting CDMA including Indonesia, Vietnam, India. Somehow they don't make to news wires. Also Korea just started 1X so expect replacements to catch on sometime. All in all there is a great momentum building for CDMA.

cfoe, thanks...<<. problem in next two quarters for them is slowing licensing in current technology environment and less chip sales increase than what is implied in QCOM's current estimates.>>

Then this could be big trouble! I hope not, but am concerned because of what the street did to PALM!
Guidance is major factor, particularly for a high PE stock! Hopefully, we'll get more positive news from China/ re contracts by earnings report (4/ 25 ?).

Bravo, the stock held pretty well today.
