zeren I am from earth take me to your leader.

Hey if you know what co's like SUNW and EMC and CSCO are going to say in their Q1 reports, please let me know now. Otherwise you, like I, have no clue how long this downturn is going ot last. But Chambers sure is talking ugly, and he would'nt be doing that if things were ok. He and John Roth both agree this downturn is going to last into early 2002, at least.

And even after the nasdaq finally does bottom, it sure is not going back up to 5000 anytime soon. For that to happen, al the defunct .coms and CLECs and all the cash-strapped wireless co's would all have to leap back to life and start cap ex spending liek crazy the way they were doing in 1998. It's just not going to happen. There's no "V" shape in our future!
Victor

How much is "not much" worse? It only takes 7 points to cut this stcok in half from here. 7 points does not sound like much when compared to 70 points that has already been lost. But, Losing 50% again is a lot!
