Hi Bob. Long time, no write, but I still frequent GOLDSHEET whenever I need gold info. Great site.

Are you familiar with TVX's assets? What is your opinion of the chances for approval to go ahead with the Greek mines?

There SEEMS to be multiple ways of dealing with the notes coming due in March 2002, but they hang over TVX like an executioners sword. The notes are trading at a 40% discount. Does this imply that the company assets are much less than they appear? If the assets were so good, and the note holders were going to take control of the company soon, wouldn't the notes be worth their weight in gold? (Pun intended)

FN just sold assets to NDY for a 20% stake of NDY, and NDY is 50% partners with TVX in North America. Any possibility of FN being interested in more of TVX?
