Hi Ray,
Things look OK on the surface. Restaurants are full. Clubs are hopping. Interest rate (tagged to US rate) are down, property transaction is up. But folks keep selling. VTech has other problems and is suing LU for selling them a dud business without proper disclosure. LU should lose. 3x PE has happened many times to many stocks in HK. 5x PE, same. 2x PE, also. Dividend yield at times reach the low teens.

I was at a chamber of commerce type of meeting at the onset of the Asian crisis, and remember the speeches by each and every one of the business leaders ... easy message to remember and I related to all at the time: "cash is good; get cash".

Now, as usual, and as last time, I am 100% maximum bullish, and advise my pals to cash, circle the spreading red spot in the water, take in the atmosphere of fear, and practice for metallic techno-Rave driven at speed of 1.4 GHz.

Going to Gateway this afternoon. My Unreal Tournament pals will soon relearn fear.

Chugs, Jay
