Re: CeBIT update: NTT comes to Europe with 3G standard

This is the kind of fight I'm gonna enjoy watching.

I'm tired of the CDMA2000 vs. WCDMA battle. Q vs. 'the Guild'

Us vs. them.

This will be fun.

Let Docomo battle it out with the Guild for superiority of their chosen 3G flavor. Let those two parties lock horns while we sit back and eat popcorn.

This is the way it should be. Q should be out of the loop completely, only around to arm and provide technicial assistance to the warring factions. Have these factions pushing their own agendas (whilst each pushing Q's simultaneously)

Know what I mean?

Why is it a Q versus the cabal scenario to begin with? When is the CDMA2000 camp going to war on our behalf?

Docomo 3G versus Euro 3G in a drag out, all weapons allowed, no cops, behind the bar streetfight. Let's party.

Japanese mobile telephone provider NTT DoCoMo is set to target the European market with its 3G standard, Foma.

I wondered how long it would take NTT to do an Irwin and offer their own technology as a salvation. My guess is Europe will be far more receptive to NTT's w-CDMA than to the Q*'s CDMA 2000. Or am I missing the point of the article.
