Robert,

You posted abstracts(not links) of articles you most likely haven't read and now a link to an article that also has no data to support your claim. I'm resigned to the reality that you probably made it up. No big deal. It saddens me a bit though.

Good point. I made up some 1992 articles in Nature and retroactively posted links to them on the net.

I admit, the whole thing is a hoax I made up this afternoon.

Bob,

I guess you went through an encounter with Scumbria's make believe universe. He often makes a point so badly that he invents data. Pretty much all the time, when I go to check his claims, I find errors in his data, and this will surprise you (NOT) Scumbria's invented data always differs from real data favoring Scumbria's point of view.

BTW, I am an aspiring vegetarian.

What is your reason behind it? Probably a PM question.

Joe

Robert, there actually was a real study (or actually a comparison between data from two different studies one in the 50s and one in the early 90s) that showed a decline in sperm count but there are some flaws in it and it has been contradicted by more recent data. Also I think the study showed a 41% drop not a 50% drop. But Scumbria is not just inventing the idea.
